Stephen Yoon is a Brooklyn based fine artist and illustrator specializing in figurative artwork concentrating on dynamic portraiture. Taking influences from popular media like film and video games along with art history to create strong narratives with accessible appeal. Riding the line with digital art mediums and traditional art techniques, creating juxtapositions between high-art and low-art.

Inspirations include George Lucas, Takashi Murakami, Klimt, Schiele, Cassatt, Japanese Ukiyo-e, and Korean landscape painting. Outside of art, Stephen enjoys cooking, watching movies, and spending time with friends.
