ABOUT
Contemporary painter Stephen Yoon uses traditional Chinese ink paintings and figurative digital artworks to explore the complexities of the Korean American experience and the intersections of Eastern and Western cultures. Yoon's work aims to bridge the gap between high and low art, offering an authentic visual perspective on the melancholy and mundanity of everyday life.
Yoon is a fifth-generation Korean American artist raised in Orange County, California, and based in New York. He earned a BA in Drawing, Painting, and Printmaking from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA.
